What the $25 self-serve pass includes, how to submit, what you receive, and the refund policy. The $200 deep pass is human-brokered — email for that.
self-serve x402 recomputable receipt no opinion
The adversarial pass is a mechanical critique of a claim artifact — your JSON, your receipt, your agent loop, your research compilation. An outside party with no stake tries to break it. The pass runs three check families:
It is not a review and not an opinion. An opinion is cheap to fake. The pass returns a verdict (PASS, PASS-WITH-WARNINGS, or FAIL) and a recomputable receipt — you can rerun the same tool on the same artifact and get the same checks digest. If you don't, the pass failed its own acceptance test.
The free sample receipt (adversarial_pass_sample.json) shows exactly what the output looks like — run on our own research compilation.
$25 — self-serve, mechanical pass. You submit an artifact JSON via x402; the engine runs and returns the verdict + receipt immediately.
$200 — human-in-the-loop deep pass. A senior technologist reads your artifact, designs custom checks, and writes a written audit. This is brokered — email karl@theccsi.org to scope it.

PASS, PASS-WITH-WARNINGS, or FAIL, with the checks that held, warned, or failed.target_digest — SHA-256 of your artifact body (minus the receipt field)checks_digest — SHA-256 of the checks arrayreinforced_digest — SHA-256 of the reinforced objectverdict — the overall verdicttool — the exact tool name, SHA-256, git revision, and dirty flag that ran the passverifier_steps — the exact steps to recompute and verify the receipt yourselforder_ref recorded in our private ledger (outside the webroot). The receipt proves what we ran and on which bytes, so the verdict can be checked rather than trusted. It deliberately does not assert the verdict is correct — recomputation is your check, and an honest pass will show its FAILs.
Inspect a real, published pass run on our own research compilation:
It shows the verdict, all three check families, the reinforced claim, and the full receipt with verifier steps. The tool that produced it is pinned by hash and revision in the receipt.
The adversarial pass is a compute service — the engine runs on your artifact and produces a deterministic result. Once the pass has executed and the verdict + receipt are delivered, no refunds are issued.
If the payment is verified but the engine fails to run (a server error), the payment is not automatically refunded — the order is recorded as claimed and the operator can refund manually by removing the signature from the replay ledger. Contact karl@theccsi.org if this occurs.
If you submit the same payment twice (replay), the second request returns 409 Conflict — the payment was already redeemed. No double-charge occurs.

For the deep pass, tell us what you're building and we'll scope the audit.
The adversarial pass is a mechanical tool. It checks structural integrity under the named check families. It does not guarantee truth, correctness, security, or fitness for any purpose. An artifact that passes may still be wrong. An artifact that fails may have a false positive. The receipt is the evidence; your judgment is the decision.
